Come to Hogtoberfest and join the UK Slalom Skateboarding Association for a couple of days of Cone Avoidence
UKSSA will be back at Hog Hill for the 3rd and final time this year running a race in collaboration with Hogtoberfest
The plan is:
Saturday – Dual Hybrid Slalom on the smaller hill. Depends on numbers we will try and run an A and B group based on riders qualifying times. Top 16 make the A bracket, next 16 make the B bracket.
Sunday – Giant Slalom on the big hill. This will be the usual format, practice followed by each rider setting two times on the course. The best timed run counts.
Please be aware that at least a Half Shell Helmet is MANDATORY! Gloves and other pads are highly reccomended! Other disciplines will have different safety equipment requirements, check the Hogtoberfest website for specific details.
The race has an ISSA Basic status.
Octane Sport will be the main sponsor of the slalom race, providing ramps, timing equipment, cones, and general helpfulness.
Newtons Shred are the main event sponsors, providing same the great support to this event as they to do many UK longboarding events.
Camping:
There will be camping at the ever friendly Lambourne End Centre. Please be respectful of the site owners and your fellow campers by not making too much noise, looking after the log cabin, cleaning up after yourselves in the kitchen. http://tiny.cc/HHcamping

Here’s the prices for this year’s event (this includes riding in any discipline you wish to enter, although be warned that timing wise different disciplines might clash):
£10 for a single day
£20 for both days
£10 for one night of camping, price per person.
Under 16s ride for free but camping is not free.
