With the 2010 ISSA World Rankings up on SlalomRanking.com, it seems that the British contingent have had a great 2010 season! Some particularly noteworthy results are:
Paul Price takes a brilliant 12th place in the Pros, and secures the number one spot with a 1st in the Masters!
Sam Gordon places 6th in the Ams, that’s a +12 Diff over the previous year (no easy feat that high up in the rankings), and enough to secure him a 3rd place in the 4year Average. Sam proves that he’s a very consistent rider!
Louis Selby has his best season yet, with a joint 2nd place in the Ams, drawing with fellow Pavel rider Steve Pederson of USA, helping to put him 8th in the 4year average.
Rob Ashby gets a highly respectable 28th in the Ams (that’s a diff of +78 over last year!!!) and a 14th in the Masters!
Ella Roggero finishes the season with a fantastic 5th place in the Womens, proving that age and experience has strong competition from youth and enthusiasm!
Congratulations to all the other British riders who raced this season, some of whom raced internationally for the first time, and best wishes to everyone for the 2011 season!
